About Michele
Michele Jacot received her Bachelor of Music degree in Performance at the University of Toronto and her Master of Music degree at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. She has performed in a variety of solo and chamber music recitals, and has played with several Canadian orchestras. In addition to her active orchestral and chamber music involvement, a portion of her freelance career includes work on film soundtracks, television and in musical theatre. Ms. Jacot has also been a faculty member at several music festivals across Canada. As well as teaching in her private studio, she is active as a workshop and masterclass instructor. She is a founding member of the DMSQ saxophone quartet.
Michele is also proud to be a Yamaha Canada Spotlight Artist.
